About Us

About Us

In 2009, Liberia Now was formed as a 501(c)3 recognized non-profit organization. Our mission is to partner with Liberian communities through projects in education, infrastructure, healthcare, economic development, and spiritual renewal. Our desire is to partner with both Liberians and Americans who are educators, innovators, doctors, business professionals, church leaders, and anyone else who wants to use their gifts to invest in Liberian transformation. Our ultimate goal is to bring hope and healing to a nation in need.

Where We Work

Liberia Now seeks to create sustainable transformation by investing in one community at a time. This targeted approach allows us to focus on addressing the five key areas of development within a community in a holistic and coordinated fashion.

Our first community in which we are focusing our efforts is Lower Virginia, located on the outskirts of the capital city of Monrovia. This community of 50,000 inhabitants was one of the most severely hit urban centers during the civil war. It was a continual point of conflict for both the rebel and government forces.
