Liberia Now is attempting to launch a new project initiative of providing a clean sanitation environment for communities in desperate need of this service. By providing latrines to local communities this helps to prevent Liberians from becoming ill due to unsanitary living conditions.

Donors can give any amount towards a latrine. Once the full amount for a latrine is received then donor(s) will receive notification that a latrine has been built in their name(s). When the latrine is completed and eventually fully functional donors will be kept informed of the details of the community in which the latrine provided clean sanitation.

2021 Goal for the number of new people to have access to latrines: between 2250-2750

2021 Amount Goal: $15,000 USD

Note: a typical new latrine built provides access to clean sanitation for around 450-550 people

Amount per latrine: around $3,000 USD depending on which community it is built in
